Slumber party.

On Sunday night, Sally was so thoughtful to pick me up from my house before we set off to Anne's place. It felt rather creepy to wander around my estate at night when it was all dim and quiet. All we heard were our voices and the rustling underneath our shoes.

We dropped our belongings off at Anne's house before heading to the petrol kiosk to grab some snacks. At the same time, we met Ween there and we went back to Anne's crib together.

After much deliberation, we have decided to catch Dawn of the Dead. We were in the TV room by ourselves and we made the couch like our own cradle with pillows piled up by the sides.

It was so thrilling and apparently, all of us were screaming in shock throughout the entire film. Instead of grabbing the edges of our seats, we were gripping our blankets and clutching our pillows.
We were like sitting through a visual roller coaster ride.

The next movie we watched us Poseidon. It has been quite some time now since I last saw that film, so everything was pretty much stale in my head. All I knew was that Josh Lucas is hot and charming. Now tell me who can ever resist a man's mesmerising charm.

We chose something lighter for our third, and it is none other than White Chicks.
Classic!
Despite watching it for umpteen times, it will never be a bore or a junk that is strewn out of the rack. Besides, what is a sleepover without a chick flick?

Nearing the very end of the show, I decided to catch a wink. I wasn't particularly sleepy, though. Eyelids weren't shutting yet, but I felt that I could do with some beauty sleep. I sprawled on the floor with a thin slice of soft mat (I would think that it was made of cotton) between me and the polished surface.

It wasn't too long before I was subconscious. I wasn't totally oblivious to the happenings in the room and I was aware that they were catching Twilight as the forth show. While I slept at a quarter before 0600, Anne dozed off halfway through the movie, Sally and Ween fell asleep at around 0800.

We were all awoken by Ween as she had a really bad sinus. Good timing as it was only a matter of time that all of us had to rise. It wasn't too long before Nab arrived and we considered watching Final Destination I. However, we paused after the first killing second to the plane explosion as our delivery was here.

HUNGRY.
HUNGRY.
HUNGRY.

After the scrumptious lunch, we lost the mood to watch any movie. So we lazed around on the couch and chatter
away away away.

Some time later, I was getting a little exhausted so I followed suit and slept with Sally. When I woke up, the girls were starting on Hostel. Having nothing else to do, I climbed onto the couch and settled myself beside Anne and Nab. Moments later, Lyn joined us too :D

It was yet another gruesome movie, but I felt that it wasn't good enough. Well, it wasn't that thrilling, and there weren't much killings to begin with. Nevertheless, I loved hearing us scream in synchronisation as though it was a symphony.

The rest of the evening was spent playing cards. When I got home at night, I was delighted as I finally reunite with my my laptop!
I miss the smell of it.
I miss it when I press my fingers gently against each key.
I miss you!

I had a blast.
